A New Map: A Grad’s Journey to Walking Again

In November 2014, NOLS grad Jim Harris woke up to find himself paralyzed after a catastrophic accident. Days later, without any evidence to support it, he wrote that it was going to be a “beautiful and frustrating process to relearn how to edge skis or bike tires through a turn.”
